Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate –Skoura– Rose valley – Dades Gorge
After breakfast in Marrakech, we will depart for the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be at the Kasbah of Telouet. Kasbah of Telouet is a beautiful, historic fortress located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. This ancient fortress was once the home of the ruling Glaoui family. It’s a beautiful example of Moroccan architecture, and you can really see the influence of the Berber people in the design. You can explore the ruined castle and learn about its history before continuing on to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou.
Next, you will visit the Kasbah Ait ben haddou, another beautiful, historic fortress located in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. This kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Morocco. It is also one of the most picturesque, with its red-sandstone walls and views of the surrounding mountains so you can take a moment and capture stunning photos over there.
After that, you will head towards Ouarzazate, a small city located in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Since it is the gateway to the Sahara Desert therefore it is a popular stop for tourists who are interested in exploring this unique landscape. You will then explore Atlas Studios and see the film sets where many famous movies have been filmed, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
Then drive to the Skoura to see many traditional Berber dwellings, as well as a beautiful palm grove.
From there you will continue the tour to the valley of the Roses, a beautiful valley located in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Where you will admire different types of roses, as well as a variety of other flowers, and experience the fragrant smells of the roses.
Finally, you will reach Dades Gorge known for its dramatic landscapes. You can see a number of different types of animals, such as the Barbary sheep.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
Breakfast will be served in the morning before you depart for the venture of Todra Gorge. You will then explore the Todra Gorge, a natural ravine carved out by the Todra River. It is located between the Erg Chebbi and the Tibesti mountains. It is a beautiful area with its sheer cliffs, the Todra River, and the desert landscape.
However, this is a popular spot for rock climbing and hiking, and there are several routes to choose from depending on your level of experience.
After working up a sweat in the Todgha Gorge, you’ll head to the top of a nearby volcanic mountain for some incredible views of the surrounding landscape.
Then it’s on to the Tafilalet oasis, one of the largest oases in Morocco. This oasis is home to a variety of plant and animal life and is a great place to relax and take in peaceful surroundings.
Finally, you’ll arrive at Merzouga, a small village in the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll hop on a camel and ride out into the desert to watch the sunset over the sand dunes.
After that you will head to your desert camp and have dinner and sit around the campfire and stargaze, letting the quiet of the desert wash over you.
You’ll spend the night in a luxury desert camp, sleeping on a mattress under the stars.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Rissani Market– Khamlia – Merzouga
To watch the sunrise you will set out on a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is a great way to experience the desert tour and get a feel for the size and scale of this massive erg. After your camel trekking, you’ll have some free time to explore the area of the Sahara desert on your own.
After that, you will travel to the city of Rissani. Here, you can enjoy a nice lunch before visiting the souk (market)and explore the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement of Sijilmassa in Rissani. The Rissani market is a large and bustling souk, full of locals and tourists alike. There are stalls selling everything from spices and herbs to clothes and jewelry. Moreover, you can wander around for a while, haggling for souvenirs and sampling the local cuisine.
After the market, you will head to Khamlia, a small village on the edge of the desert. however, it is home to the Gnawa people, who are originally from Africa. Furthermore, Khamlia is known for its music, which is a mix of traditional Gnawa music and modern blues thus music is very distinctive and trance-like. You will have the opportunity to listen to this music and learn about the culture and traditions of the people who live here.
As the sun sets, you will return to your Riad at the edge of the Merzouga desert dunes with dinner.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Nekob- Agdez – Marrakech
After spending an amazing night in the Desert you will head towards the mountains of Sarhro, spectacular volcanic rocks a stunning area of lava flows, and gorges of superb views. These are the most famous places in the area and is also great place for photography. The area is home to some of the world’s most spectacular geological features, including a large number of mountains, valleys, gorges, and caves.
Then you will continue to Nekob, a small oasis surrounded by sand dunes. It is a traditional place where nomads used to stay in the past. You can also find Berber villages, ancient windmills, and natural springs. spectacular view of the Atlas Mountains
Later you will drive to the Draa Valley, where you will visit the oasis of Tamnougalt. You will have the chance to see the largest palm tree in the world, which is located in the middle of the valley.
After that, you’ll move on to Agdez, a small town famous for its pottery and traditional leather goods. In the afternoon, you’ll have lunch at one of the restaurants in Agdez.
Finally, you’ll then return to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka around 6 PM and will be dropped at your accommodation.
